In the months of October – December 2022, the existing damaged floor was dismantled, a new concrete base was built, and a shock-absorbing sports floor system with an ash solid wood top layer was laid on top. Marking of field lines has been done. The Border Guard School has been operating in Rezekne since 1992, where Latvian border guards receive their education. A multifunctional sports hall with a shock-absorbing sports floor is essential for young border guards to train and maintain good physical condition.
